In 1979, Gary Clark Sr., the founder of Northstar, saw an opportunity in the commercial cleaning industry. He noticed that the service and parts support equipment dealers in the greater Spokane area provided after the sale was lacking, resulting in costly downtime and frustration for local business owners.  Gary recognized that if he built a value-added company that put service and parts support first, and treated people with fairness and honesty, that equipment sales would follow, and the business would prosper. 

His formula was correct, and over the past 45 years Northstar Clean Concepts has since grown from a small, two-man shop into the leading provider of commercial cleaning and environmental solutions in the Pacific Northwest. 

The company has remained operated by the Clark family over the years, who have since established additional locations in Pasco, Washington and Portland, Oregon.  Today, Northstar not only provides industrial cleaning equipment, environmental equipment, and repair services to businesses throughout the Pacific Northwest, but we also supply parts and accessories to thousands of customers online throughout the United States and Canada.
